Home Campus

Newton Road

A campus inside a working hotel.

Level three of Hotel Royal, minutes from Orchard Road. Forty percent of the programme happens here, in a building that runs a full service day around you.

01 Level three
Campus life panel of five photographs: a student pouring latte art, a student preparing a hotel room overlooking Marina Bay Sands, a student photographing temples at sunset, a plated dish beside a glass of wine, and three students talking on a sofa. Reads: Campus life. Learn. Experience. Belong. Real experiences, real connections, a journey that goes beyond the classroom. Hands-on learning. Hotel immersion. Field trips and immersions. Wine and food experiences. Clubs and community.
Level threeWhere the sessions happen. Daylight, tables you can move, and the building working on the other side of the door.

A hotel does not stop for a timetable.

Arrivals at seven, a function at eight, a kitchen turning over lunch while you are three floors up working out what any of it costs. The building is the case study.

Under one roof

Everything in one building.

Cairnhill sits on level three of Hotel Royal. Around it the building runs as a full hotel: restaurants and a coffeehouse, function and seminar rooms, a pool, a gym, a launderette, and a front desk that never closes.

So the day is contained. Somewhere to eat, open space to sit and work between sessions, and the trade running audibly around you. Guest facilities are for guests of the hotel, on the same terms as anyone staying here.

Teaching itself happens in Cairnhill's own classrooms. Intakes are sized to the capacity CPE has registered, and where demand runs ahead of it the additional premises are registered before the places are offered. A capacity figure means nothing otherwise.

Open Monday to Friday; weekends follow the timetable. Contact the school for anything more specific.

Staying here

Sleep in the building you study in.

Cairnhill has an arrangement with Hotel Royal for students who would rather stay where they study. Optional, rooms limited, and it carries no weight in an application.

What it buys is time: no commute on a campus morning, no last train after an evening session, and a working hotel around you at the hours when hospitality actually happens.

Your booking is with the hotel, on the hotel's own terms, and sits separately from the PEI-Student Contract. It runs both ways: if something goes wrong with your room or your bill, student support raises it directly with the hotel rather than leaving you to argue it alone.

Rooms and facilities at hotelroyal.com.sg. For what the arrangement covers, contact the school.

Singapore has one of the lowest crime rates in the world and Newton Road is busy at all hours. Cairnhill's own part is small: you sign in at the counter, we hold an emergency contact for every student, and there is a written route for reporting an incident. Police 999, ambulance 995. Journey times are approximate and are not part of any contract.

Student support

Somebody is behind the counter.

Support is already inside the programme fee. Speak to support staff at the admissions office on level three, or write to us. The page says what it covers, how fast we reply, and answers the questions that come up most.

Getting here

Two stops from Novena.

36 Newton Road, #03-02, Hotel Royal, Singapore 307964. The bus stop is outside the door and Novena MRT is a short walk. A visit takes about thirty minutes: the room, the schedule, the fees, and the questions you would rather ask a person.
